Role Overview:

We're looking for an ESG Research Analyst to research the stewardship practices and disclosures of institutional investors for the benefit of all stakeholders, ranging from companies to regulators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research stewardship practices and disclosures of institutional investors.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards in stewardship and responsible investment.
  • Prepare data-driven reports and presentations to support clients' understanding of the stewardship landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance AQTION's research methods and stewardship data.
  • Engage with asset managers and corporate representatives to gather insights and promote best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in ESG research, proxy voting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly communicate complex information.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance, stewardship codes, and voting guidelines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ESG research tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Passion for sustainability and responsible investment.

Requirement Process

  • There will likely be a large number of applications; as such, we may not be able to respond on an individual basis.
  • The recruitment process involves an initial screener questionnaire, a case study, and two interviews (one in person).
  • AQTION has adopted a hybrid work model where team members are expected to be in the office at least four days a week.
