About Us

Doctorcall is one of the UK's most established private GP providers, with over 35 years' experience delivering responsive, high-quality home visits. We care for a wide range of patients, including international travellers using insurance, hotel guests, and self-paying local residents.

We are expanding our network across Aberdeenshire and are looking for experienced GPs who want to work flexibly and independently — with the support of a dedicated admin team and no paperwork burden.

The Role

As a Private GP, you will see patients in their homes, hotels, or workplaces, managing typical primary care presentations. You'll work on an ad-hoc basis, with visits scheduled to fit around your existing commitments — ideal for GPs seeking supplementary, rewarding work.

Flexible working – you decide your availability

No admin – we handle scheduling, insurers, and billing

Indemnity provided

App-based workflow with full onboarding

Supportive admin team coordinating your visits

What You'll Need

  • GMC registration and licence to practise
  • MRCGP or equivalent
  • Up-to-date mandatory training and vaccinations
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Confidence working independently
  • Access to your own vehicle to reach patients across Aberdeenshire

How It Works

  • You let us know your availability (e.g., evenings, weekends, or between NHS clinics)
  • We match you with patients in your area as demand arises
  • You see the patient, log notes via our app, and receive prompt payment (£120 per visit)

Apply Now

  • Join a trusted and forward-thinking private GP network. If you're a GP based in Aberdeenshire and would like to work flexibly, professionally, and with full support — we'd love to hear from you.
