As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our residents lead fulfilling, meaningful lives while maintaining independence, dignity and choice. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supervising the care team on shift
Supporting with personal care and daily living tasks
Administering medication safely
Creating, reviewing and updating person-centred care plans
Supporting residents with emotional and psychological well-being
Working closely with families to ensure they feel part of the Glenholme community
Promoting inclusion, encouragement and a positive atmosphere every day
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum, as Level 3 desired or willingness to work towards it)
Experience working in a care home or similar setting
Medication administration experience (training can be provided)
Strong communication and leadership skills
A genuine passion for supporting older people
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
