Southampton, Southampton, United Kingdom Reform Electrical Distributors Full time

High standards. High reward. No passengers. Key Account Department Manager – Reform Electrical Distributors (Southampton)

Reform Electrical Distributors is one of the fastest-growing independents on the South Coast — built on service, speed, and standards. We're not here to follow the industry. We're here to set the benchmark.

We're creating a brand-new Key Accounts Department — and we're looking for someone exceptional to lead it.

This isn't a 9-to-5 role. You'll be managing our most important customers, driving sales performance, and setting the pace for the rest of the team. This is an internal role based in our Southampton branch, with only the occasional external customer visit when required.

If you want an easy ride, this isn't for you. We work fast, we work hard, and we expect results. But if you're a top performer who thrives under pressure, this is a genuine opportunity to make your mark inside a rapidly growing, high-performing business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all day-to-day operations of the Key Accounts Department
  • Manage, grow, and retain high-value customer relationships
  • Drive consistent sales growth and profitability across your accounts
  • Build and develop the team beneath you as the department expands
  • Take ownership of strategy, structure, and performance
  • Uphold Reform's standards, culture, and way of working while helping to push them forward

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical wholesale
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts and winning business
  • Strong commercial instinct and ability to think strategically
  • Exceptional communication, organisation, and drive
  • Thick skin, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure

If you're looking for a comfortable job, look elsewhere.

If you want to build something, lead people, and win, we'd like to hear from you.

Job Type: Full-time (in person – Southampton)
