The role:
At Ifamax, we are a small team who specialise in providing high quality financial advice to our clients. We are looking for someone to support our team to ensure our clients receive the best level of service. You will be expected to work in a way that reflects our friendly and professional service at all times.
We are looking for an astute individual who will support the provision of financial planning and portfolio management services to high-net-worth clients.
The successful candidate will not be expected to know the intricacies of financial planning as training and support will be provided. They will have exceptional organisational, communication and administrative skills, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of all aspects of financial planning.
The role is office based in Central Bristol.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating and updating client information on our back office system.
- Obtaining current & historic valuations from providers and relaying information back to the Financial Planner.
- Ensure financial planners recommendations to clients are actioned accurately and in a timely manner.
- Writing financial planning reviews and preparing packs for client meetings.
- General office administration duties.
- Helping to manage the smooth running of the office.
Key characteristics:
- Excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships.
- Strong attention to detail, to be able to problem solve and think on your feet.
- Good time management and planning skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs.
- It is essential that you are confident in dealing with colleagues and third parties and can work with total discretion.
Qualifications and experience required for this role:
This role would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who already works in financial services or wants to enter the industry. This could be a graduate, someone looking to kickstart their career, or someone wanting to change their career later in life.

Annual salary:
£25,000 + bonuses + full paid study (if desired). We have a structured pathway in place for future salary increases.
Hours per week:
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, based in our office.
Holidays:
22 days pro rata (plus bank holidays + birthday day off), this increases with service. We also have team days out, a Christmas party and the occasional beer after work.
