Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food production.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimise waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections to uphold cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures, to ensure profitability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
