Our client, a vertically integrated Operations and Maintenance specialist for utility-scale ground-mounted solar farms in the UK and Europe, is seeking a Civils Operative. This is a permanent position site-based and reporting directly to the Civils Operations Manager. The role involves supporting the Civils Team in the maintenance and grounds keeping of solar farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Civils Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations of the Civils Team
  • Undertake machine and plant operations as directed
  • General labourer duties on-site as requested
  • Perform banksman duties
  • Report on Civils PMMs and corrective works
  • Provide ad hoc support and assistance as requested by the Civils Manager
  • Work according to the company Integrated Management System to help achieve Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Full and clean UK Driving Licence
  • LANTRA or equivalent qualifications in Tractor Driving, Bush Cutting, and City & Guilds Weed Spraying
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
  • A can-do and practical mindset is essential
