Following a sustained period of growth we are now seeking to appoint a Senior Field Installations Manager for the London Door Company. The ideal applicant will likely have both practical hands-on experience in the fitted door & window sector and / or the high end fitted furniture industry, will also have excellent communication skills, be approachable, of smart appearance and able to demonstrate a mature personality coupled with youthful enthusiasm. Age and gender are irrelevant, but an appreciation of high end bespoke manufacturing is desirable. A full UK driving licence is requisite.

The Senior Field Installation Manager will report directly to the General Manager, with key responsibilities for:

  • Managing the external functions with the support of two field installation managers and fitting teams.
  • To ensure all work is completed in compliance with Company specifications and industry standards.
  • Visit assigned installations and fitting teams to actively manage clients expectations.
  • Oversee the management of fitting teams, ensuring vans and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Handle client queries promptly with a proactive approach to 'Aftercare' support.
  • Support the recruitment & training of fitters congruent with company standards.
  • To undertake surveys prior to manufacture when providing holiday cover for the field installation managers.
  • Working closely with both the Client Services & Planning co-ordinators
