THE POSITION
The Corporate Access Analyst, based in London, will be part of a team responsible for developing and executing corporate access events across EMEA i.e. coordination and management of access to corporates, experts and government entities. This will include on and off-site meetings, site visits, conference calls, roadshows, investment conferences and bespoke field trips. This is a hands-on role which requires ownership of day-to-day coordination between our investment professionals and the corporates. The Analyst will engage with investors, proactively suggest agendas, itineraries and respond to company queries and questions where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with global investment professionals to understand and support their corporate access needs across European markets
  • Coordinate with international colleagues to deliver timely updates and identify strategic corporate access opportunities across regions
  • Engage with the Investor Relations community in partnership with corporate access team to strengthen Wellington's corporate partnerships and brand
  • Work closely with sell-side counterparts, brokers and third-party vendors to manage corporate access activity
  • Collaborate with buy-side partners to design and execute tailored conferences in London that align with their strategic objectives and engagement preferences
  • Coordinate with research providers to design and optimize conference schedules that align with investment professionals' priorities
  • Support investment professionals in fulfilling their expert engagement requirements, ensuring all interactions adhere to regulatory standards and internal compliance protocols
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of technology solutions that streamline and enhance the corporate access process
  • Update and analyze current processes and procedures and actively suggest improvements and assist with training

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience within financial services in particular; corporate access and investor relations but not essential
  • A strong team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • A service attitude and mindset
  • Self-motivated and strategic thinker with a strong desire to learn and grow within the role
  • Ability to develop relationships with investment professionals to gain an understanding and empathy with their needs as an investor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
  • Highly motivated and proactive individual who is capable of working on their own initiative
  • High attention to detail and consistent follow through; accuracy with all work is essential
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Composed and diplomatic under pressure, with the confidence to advocate for sound decisions in high-visibility situations
  • Strong Excel and database skills are an advantage
