Summary

We are seeking a dedicated non pharmacist pharmacy manager to lead our team at our Fleetwood health Centre. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional patient care and efficient medication management, aligning with our mission to serve the community with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Lead and motivate the pharmacy team to deliver outstanding patient care.
  • Manage medication stock control and ensure accurate dispensing.
  • Provide expert advice on medication administration and patient health.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation within the pharmacy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Maintain CPD and GPhC registration.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike.

The successful candidate will be able to support the company with dispensary management, hitting key KPIs, service delivery and staff support. A passion for leadership is an essential quality for this small community orientated branch.

Essential

  • Passion for healthcare
  • Demonstrate examples of great customer interaction inside or outside of the business.
  • Passionate about making a difference to health outcomes within Fleetwood
  • Previous experience in a busy pharmacy
  • GPhC Registered Technician
  • Willingness to be trained to also deliver NHS Health Checks, Stop Smoking Service, BP Service and support other services such as Travel Clinics and Private PGDs..
  • Can Clearly demonstrate examples of teamwork and handling complex customer situations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in pharmacy management or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient care.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills - with given examples
  • Ability to manage inventory and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Registered pharmacy technician with the GPhC (this is not essential for candidates with a strong retail management background and will be considered. However it is advantageous to the role).
