Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive General Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. This position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a site or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Working at height experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Physically fit, with the capability to lift heavy items as required.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends if required.

This will role will be on various installation sites throughout N. Ireland, mainland UK & the Republic of Ireland. Weekly hours will be 40 per week. This may range from normal office hours of 8.30am - 5pm, to site work of longer days. Overnight stays at site locations may be essential.

Please note a full clean driving licence is essential.

Salary will be dependent on experience.
