The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist and Therapist, you will work closely with dentists to deliver high-quality dental services, ensuring patients receive comprehensive hygiene and restorative treatments and education.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental hygiene examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories and recording vital signs.
- Employ digital imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images for evaluation.
- Educate patients on excellent oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the development of individualised care plans based on individual patient needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience.
Experience
- A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene and Therapy is essential.
- Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with R4 carestream software and digital imaging equipment will be advantageous.
