This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
  • Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort and care throughout their treatment.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, appointments, and oral hygiene instructions.
  • Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring that all materials are stocked and organised.
  • Support the administrative team with scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries as needed.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient IT skills for maintaining patient records and using dental software systems.
