Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse to join our professional dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess excellent organisational and communication skills. Duties

  • Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth operation of the clinic
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients before, during, and after treatments
  • Take and develop dental radiographs as required
  • Manage patient records accurately using IT systems
  • Offer oral health advice and post-treatment instructions to patients
  • Maintain a clean, organised clinical environment at all times
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and health & safety standards

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic IT literacy for managing patient records and appointment scheduling
  • Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with patients and team members
  • Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
