Job Summary

Herdman Homes is an established property management company, specializing in House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) management. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our tenants and maintaining high standards across our portfolio, which includes HMOs, blocks, and individual residences.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Property Manager to join our small, dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral to the success of our property management operations, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and our tenants are satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, annual safety checks, and tenant relations.

  • Utilise our CRM software for managing property data, including tenant records, rental agreements, and financial transactions.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure properties meet safety standards and are well-maintained.

  • Advertise and market available units/rooms to attract potential tenants.

  • Screen and select qualified tenants, including conducting background checks and verifying income.

  • Collect rent payments and address any delinquencies or disputes efficiently.

  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors.

  • Address tenant concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Property Management.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Customer Service.

  • Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills.

  • Strong administrative skills, including data entry, record keeping, and file management.

  • Proficient in office procedures and equipment, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid Driving Licence (required).
