The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you'll lead strategic supplier engagement across manufacturing and engineering portfolios.
This isn't transactional procurement—it's
strategic relationship leadership
. You'll use data, insight, and influence to align global suppliers to complex project needs, strengthen delivery capability, and drive continuous improvement across major national infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a
strategic partner
to key global suppliers, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and long-term value creation - Lead supplier performance management, relationship reviews, and risk mitigation activities
- Harness
data and analytics (e.g. Power BI)
to measure performance and unlock improvement opportunities - Support project teams through effective forecasting, capacity planning, and supplier integration
- Influence senior stakeholders and embed a culture of supply chain excellence across the organisation
About You:
You're a
strategic, data-driven supply chain professional
who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and delivering measurable impact.
You'll likely have:
- Proven experience in
supply chain or procurement
within
engineering, manufacturing, or infrastructure - A strategic mindset with confidence to make independent, insight-led decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of
CIPS principles
and supplier performance frameworks - Willingness to travel
2–3 days per week
for supplier and site engagement
