With a culture built around continuous improvement and accountability, they are now seeking an accomplished Head of Transport to lead a large-scale transport operation from their Newcastle site.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Supply Chain Management based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The individual in this position will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, implement strategy to drive efficiency, and manage procurement processes to optimize costs. The role involves leading and developing cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination between operations, procurement, and customer service. The selected candidate will also play a pivotal role in maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring service excellence for key stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to foster business growth and operational excellence
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Experience in the logistics or manufacturing industry is highly desirable
