Baylham Care Centre is a nursing home and we provide outstanding care for residents living with dementia. Our team is committed to ensuring every individual feels valued, safe, and supported in an environment that feels like home. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing patient care, ensuring high standards of nursing practice, and leading a team of nursing professionals. This position requires a strong foundation in patient care, and medication administration to provide exceptional support to both patients and staff. Experience with patients with dementia and challenging behaviours is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents living with dementia.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, families, and carers.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Administer medication safely and effectively in line with care protocols.
  • Lead and mentor care staff to ensure best practice in dementia care.
  • Monitor and manage changes in residents' health, escalating concerns as necessary.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient care protocols, and medication administration practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with patients with dementia and challenging behaviours is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience
