Mechanical (CAD) Design Engineer

ARCA is currently supporting an innovation-driven technology scale-up who are looking for an engineer who can take ownership of mechanical enclosure design for integrated electronics.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing Charge PDUs and taking designs through to installation
  • Supporting mechanical & electrical teams with design activities
  • Producing CPDU electrical drawings
  • Designing harnesses, interfaces, and electro-mechanical parts in CATIA / 3DX
  • Validating requirements & verifying components
  • Contributing to Electrical FMEAs and supporting system FTA

Key deliverables

  • Harness drawings
  • Mechanical drawings
  • Electrical BOM
  • Requirements validation
  • Item-level verification
  • Electrical ICD documentation

What you'll need

  • Strong experience in CATIA V6 & 3DX PLM
  • Background in electro-mechanical design, harnessing & enclosure design

This contract is based out Bristol with hybrid working available.
