Group Head - OMG

London based, hybrid working

We are looking for a very experienced candidate to take on the role of Agency Group Head in our London team. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Sales and will be required to manage their team's pipeline as well as their own. The ideal candidate will have several years' experience within the market, have a strong contact list and ideally hold existing relationships with OMG agencies. You will need to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the current market and where to leverage huge global spends to drive sales.

Most importantly, the candidate will be able to source significant levels of new business, developing strong client relationships, mentoring and supporting members of the team (this role involves managing a team of Sales Managers and delivering the highly professional service for which Blis are renowned. Specifically;

Key responsibilities

  • Work with Director of Sales & Commercial MD to manage the relationship with a specific agency patch/patches including the trading deal and help drive revenue growth opportunities
  • Leverage candidates existing and new relationships to build their own pipeline of opportunity across Blis' product set. Target customers are London's media agencies including mobile specialists and independents.
  • Conversion of pipeline and acquisition of new customers and accounts to achieve aggressive targets.
  • Deep relationship building and account management of customers.

Skills and requirements

  • Strong background in digital or mobile sales and account management.
  • Previous experience of managing a team.
  • Expert knowledge of mobile and understanding of how mobile is traded.
  • Currently leveraging large budgets from media / mobile agencies.
  • Have a deep contact list and experience to hit the ground running and quickly deliver on high sales targets.
  • Existing senior relationships within OMG agency/agencies
  • A demonstrable understanding of the needs and requirements of digital media buyers.
  • A proven track record of growing a pipeline from scratch.
  • The confidence to present to large and small audiences.
  • A proven ability to close deals and achieve targets.
  • Demonstrable self-starter experience.
