Social Media & Marketing Executive

Are you a social media wizard with a passion for all things marketing? We're Bigjigs Toys, a fun and fast-paced company, and we're on the hunt for someone like you to help us spread the word about our amazing toys

What you'll be doing:

  • Working with our Graphic Design Lead to plan and schedule awesome social media content and run marketing campaigns for our toy brands.
  • Teaming up with influencers, bloggers, and businesses (think TikTok live videos) to drive traffic and engagement to our sites and social channels using Shopify Collabs.
  • Collaborating with other brands to boost our reach and engagement.
  • Being our online community manager – chatting with followers, responding to DMs, and engaging with comments.

What we're looking for:

  • You're totally in the know about the latest marketing and social media trends.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You're a pro at scheduling with Later.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Super organised and great at hitting those deadlines.
  • Experience working with influencers or affiliates.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and strategies to nurture leads and engage with customers. Bonus points if you've used e-commerce platforms like Shopify or Magento.
  • A genuine passion for marketing communications.
  • Someone who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent SEO/SEM Knowledge. You must have an understanding of search engine optimization and marketing principles to improve content visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Ability to analyze social media and campaign performance data, identify trends, and generate reports to inform future strategies.
  • Ability to identify emerging social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Content creation & editing skills, working in conjunction with our in house copywriter and photographer.
  • Knowledge of setting up and managing paid campaigns on various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads) desirable.

We started in a garden shed in 1985 and now we're a multinational operation, supplying awesome traditional wooden toys to shops in over 40 countries, as well as directly to our customers. We're a lively bunch and things move fast here
