The Opportunity
As an Accounts Senior, you will be central to maintaining strong client relationships, providing tailored financial advice, and ensuring clients feel supported and informed. This role goes beyond managing accounts – it's about understanding each client's unique needs and helping them achieve their goals. You will be the trusted advisor clients rely on for guidance, clarity, and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships, offering proactive, value-driven financial advice.
- Prepare and review annual accounts, management accounts, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage VAT, corporation tax, and personal tax submissions, keeping clients informed and meeting deadlines.
- Support colleagues in advising clients on financial planning, tax strategies, and business growth.
- Collaborate with the wider team to share knowledge and deliver a seamless client experience.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ICAS, or equivalent).
- Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
