Senior Product Manager – Platform

Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

As one of the world's premier entertainment portfolios, Hayu EMEA Networks & Int'l Direct-to-Consumer  delivers quality content and compelling brands to over 160 territories across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Delivering a full range of entertainment experiences to local audiences across the globe, the unique brands include UNIVERSAL TV, SYFY, E Entertainment Television, 13TH STREET, DIVA, Studio Universal, Telemundo, Bravo and DreamWorks. Universal+ (a hybrid linear and non-linear service) aggregates the group's brands on affiliate platforms, offering subscribers both live programming and an extensive range of compelling VOD content, including territory premieres and full box sets, available all in one place.

NBCU's direct-to-consumer activity outside the US includes Hayu, the all-reality SVOD service available in 45 territories – including the UK, Canada and across Europe and Asia Pacific.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Hayu & EMEA Networks Product team, overseeing the Platform and Partnerships roadmaps. In this role, the candidate will collaborate with fellow Product Managers to deliver impactful features across Hayu and EMEA Network products, while partnering with the Commercial team to launch new strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, excels at defining clear requirements with stakeholders, and works closely with development teams to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage Platform & Partnerships roadmaps across Hayu, EMEA Networks 'App on Platform' offering.
• Manage CMS, Search & Recs Platform backlog and work with internal stakeholders (Data engineering, Product Managers, Programming/Editorial, Marketing & Commercial teams) to define and prioritise features.
• Lead on D2C & EMEA Networks 'App on Platform' Product partnerships and manage in-life partners.
• Responsible for Hayu & EMEA Networks Partner ecosystem
• Collaborate with Product Managers, developers, and architects to ensure new features are designed and developed for long-term scalability and resilience.
• Responsible for operational excellence: platform stability and technical performance across Hayu & EMEA Networks Partner apps
• Use Data and product expertise to identify areas of improvement and cost savings opportunities across the platform.
• Keep up to date with latest product innovations, technical frameworks, and market trends.
• Leverage Hayu's data and product insights to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities across the platform.
• Stay updated on the latest product innovations, technical frameworks, legal requirements and market trends.

Basic Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Technical or Platform Product Manager, ideally within a complex ecosystem of internal and external partners.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to read and interpret architecture diagrams and engage confidently in technical discussions with engineers and architects.
• Experience in designing and maintaining integration documentation in collaboration with technical leads and architects.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose scalable solutions.
• Experience working effectively with design, engineering, and commercial teams.
• Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced, evolving environments, balancing long-term vision with immediate execution.
• Prior experience working with third-party vendors or technology partners, including setting product expectations, tracking deliverables, and managing in-life performance.
• Passion for innovation, with an active interest in emerging technologies, platform scalability, and technical frameworks relevant to OTT, streaming, or digital products.
