Clarendon Homes is looking for someone with a Marketing qualification and/or experience to join our expanding office, fulfilling the role of Social Media & Marketing Assistant. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who is looking to put their marketing skills into practice. The role will cover both Digital and Offline marketing, as well as assisting with sales duties and so presents a very varied and fulfilling role.

Skills/Experience required:


• Degree or qualification in Marketing or previous experience in a similar role


• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook)


• Basic Adobe Suites understanding (Photoshop, InDesign/ Illustrator/ Canva)


• WordPress knowledge would be beneficial, but training will be given.


• Copywriting abilities (blogs, website, etc)


• Organisational skills


• Creative mindset and an eye for detail


• Strong teamwork and communication skills but also the ability to work independently.


• Good telephone manner (training will be given on the phone system)

Duties would include:


• Blog researching and writing, consistent with brand tone of voice


• Updating our website using WordPress (training will be given)


• Assisting with creating our newsletters


• Basic website SEO


• Social media management (utilising tools and platforms such as Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn)


• Content creation (graphics for socials, short-form video content, copywriting, etc)


• Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to monitor performance of SEO and PPC campaigns


• Reading and presenting analytics (from a META ad, newsletter, or a Looker report)


• Working with our marketing agencies to create marketing literature for our developments.


• Designing physical advertising (signage and print ads) to promote our developments


• Updating our customer database (via Hubspot)


• Taking part in and bringing ideas to our weekly meetings.


• Assisting with sales tasks including answering initial customer enquiries and preparing reservation forms via Docusign


• Assisting with answering the office phone line


• Managing our office fundraising and occasional PR activities
