This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to work within the
Group GenAI team
. We are looking for a talented
Full Stack Software Engineer
, ideally strong in Python, with good knowledge of AWS, Google, Microsoft AI technology stacks. We thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your skills and ideas will be valued, and your contributions will directly impact Admiral's GenAI undertakings.

Our team operates at group level to push the delivery of GenAI use cases as well as support teams with the business and IT to grow their GenAI estate.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and help junior members level up
  • Keep up to date with GenAI technologies
  • Develop backend services, using Python, node, flask or Django
  • Develop modern responsive multi device applications, using modern dev languages and technologies.
  • Build and design Infrastructures, creating services for POCs or pre-production
  • Support and consult with technical teams within Admiral operating companies and their departments
  • Adhere to Admiral security standards and responsible AI principles.
  • Share knowledge by pair programming, show and tell sessions.
  • Contribute actively to technology research by creating material or experiments to test disruptive technologies, new GenAI models, tuning or agentic techniques.
  • Work in concert with team Business Analysts to ensure measurable and fulfil team OKRs
  • Report to GenAI Principal – for technical, tactical and strategic directions as well as regulatory concerns and guardrails
  • Act as a soundboard for innovative designs with Principal fostering a highly collaborative ecosystem

Required Skills

  • Development using Python, JavaScript libraries and frameworks and React preferred)
  • Development of serverless o backend applications , Python etc )
  • API/MCP knowledge and related security principles
  • Understanding of RAG processes and technologies (Vector, Graph, DocDB)
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and CI/CD.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of GenAI technologies
  • Passion for GenAI

  • Networking, IP protocols (HTTP, WS)
  • Encryption, RSA/SHA
  • Security, authentication and membership protocols
  • UX/UI frameworks , Audio/Video
  • Social/messaging networks technologies
