We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and data-driven Database & CRM Marketing Manager to own and optimise our CRM and audience database strategy.

This role sits at the heart of our organisational transformation, unlocking the value of a fast-growing global user base through intelligent data, automation, and activation. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you will combine marketing acumen with technical CRM and database expertise to lead database marketing operations, segmentation, and analytics across our ecosystem.

Your mission is not only to manage the CRM today, but to mobilise the database into an engaged, revenue-generating community that underpins long-term commercial growth across subscriptions, events, advertising, and intelligence products.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Ownership & Strategy

  • Work with the CCO and Marketing Lead to own and continually evolve the CRM strategy and database commercialisation plan.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Dynamics as the central customer and marketing database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and strategic alignment with business needs.
  • Develop a roadmap to mobilise and monetise the database, driving engagement, retention, and conversion across multiple revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, and Operations to create a unified, data-driven view of customers and prospects.
  • Define and implement best-practice processes for data capture, enrichment, and lifecycle management across our online presence.

Campaign & Automation Management

  • Design, build, and deploy targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns via CRM and automation platforms.
  • Develop automated nurture workflows, triggered journeys, and lead-scoring models that improve conversion and retention.
  • Lead segmentation strategies to maximise revenue opportunities across advertising, events, and subscriptions.
  • Track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions, ROI).

Data Quality, Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain high standards of data quality, consistency, and completeness across all sources and integrations.
  • Ensure full compliance with GDPR/PECR and internal governance standards while enabling responsible commercialisation.
  • Produce regular dashboards and insight reports on database growth, engagement, and monetisation performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data acquisition through website forms, content downloads, events, and partner channels.

Commercial & Cross-Functional Impact

  • Partner with Marketing to identify and commercialise high-value audience segments.
  • Provide actionable CRM insights to support sales enablement, campaign targeting, and product development.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to integrate CRM data into broader analytics and user-profiling initiatives.
  • Champion CRM adoption, data discipline, and marketing automation best practice across teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Robust working SQL knowledge
  • Proven experience in CRM and database marketing and management, ideally in B2B.
  • Demonstrable success in growing and turning CRM data into commercial outcomes, growing revenue, engagement, and retention.
  • Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (data structures, workflows, reporting, and integrations).
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g. Force24 etc., or similar).
  • Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of data governance, segmentation, and compliance principles.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • An working understanding of ETL, Datawarehousing, interrogation and modelling (ML) would be a distinct advantage.
