About the role: Are you a commercially aware manager with experience of leadership across CQC Regulated Services and managing change within a Social Care or Health environment? We're looking for a proactive Transformation Manager Registered Services to join Corserv Care. Role Purpose: To lead strategic transformation initiatives within Corserv Care services that improve efficiency, deliver better outcomes for service users, and align with commercial objectives. The role combines service redesign with financial sustainability, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while driving innovation and value for money.

What you'll be doing: Working directly to the Professional Service Lead the transformation role will be pivotal in providing leadership and capacity, to ensure the delivery of commercial growth, VFM services that deliver the right outcomes for people across Registered services.

Provide proactive and effective management for selected transformation programmes as agreed with the Professional Service Lead, utilising project and programme management skills, driving agreed programmes forward.

Working directly with the Business Change Project Manager (Care), and the Senior Leadership Team, along with key stakeholders within Cornwall, to ensure the successful and timely delivery of key projects within agreed timescales and resource.

Reporting into Care Senior Leadership Team on progress against agreed actions and projects, raising issues/concerns.

Navigate and negotiate complex service improvement plans that deliver sustainable growth and commercial income in line with Corserv Care Business Plan.

Key Accountabilities: 

STEPS Service 

The role will be required to ensure the new operational structure is embedded and delivers significant cultural change. 

Working with the Registered Reablement Manager the role will be responsible for supporting developing partnerships and collaborations across the ICS and provider market.

CARE and Support Service 

The role will be required to ensure the new operational structure is embedded and delivers significant cultural change.

 Supporting the Registered Manager to identify commercial growth opportunities that contribute to the sustainability and profitability of the service.

Working with the People Team and Marketing and Comms department to develop a comprehensive strategy to support recruitment and growth.

Respite Care Services

This role will be required to provide operational leadership and responsibility for budget management, resources and transformation in accordance with Corserv Care Business Case. 

Ensuring VFM, personalised outcomes for people who use the service, along with provision of growth and diversity.

Working with and deputising for Professional Service Lead in their absence. Participate in the Executive on call rota.

About you: 

Qualifications & experience: 

  • RMA/NVQ4/ILM 5 or recognised professional qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Experience of managerial responsibility across CQC Regulated Services, including leading teams and managing change with a Social Care or Health environment.
  • Experience of and conversant with national care standards and regulations.
  • Experience in transforming services and/or service improvement, including culture.
  • A proven talent in developing strong relationships, collaborative approaches and engaging with a diverse range of external stakeholders.
  • Experience of supporting delivery of change/transformation on time and to budget and guiding stakeholders through service redesign and ensure our programmes are informed by quality insight. 
  • Experience of working within a profit and loss environment and working within agreed budgets.
  • Demonstrate experience in using lessons learnt to develop "best practice".
  • Excellent communication skills – in particular presentation and report writing skills and negotiation.
  • Ability to analyse/interpret data and provide clear reports and service delivery plans.
  • Previous experience of working as part of a project management team/ understanding of project management techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience of budget management and use of resources.
  • Ability to multitask workload against competing demands and manage changing priorities.
  • Person Centred Practice experience in social care with adults in need of support services and their families or a demonstrable commitment to working in social care.
  • A sound working knowledge of Human Resources and associated policies and procedures.
  • A good working knowledge and ability to use information technology and related operational systems.
  • Ability to have difficult conversations and use effective negotiation skills.
  • Flexible approach to managing workloads and changing priorities. 
  • Experience of working with people who have care and support needs.
  • Knowledge of the social care sector/ provision and understanding of inter-agency working.
  • Good telephone manner, excellent active listening, oral and written communication skills, and evidence of negotiation, empathy and diplomacy.
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to stay professionally focused within a busy and demanding environment.
