Field Service Technician

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Field Technician to perform traffic counter installations, camera setups, and cabling work at client sites. The ideal candidate should have experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining traffic monitoring systems and related network or power cabling.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure traffic counting devices, road sensors, and related equipment.
- Set up and mount surveillance or traffic cameras at designated locations.
- Perform structured cabling (Ethernet/fiber/power) for connected systems.
- Conduct system testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure accurate placement and alignment of cameras and counters.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as required.
- Complete on-site reports and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in traffic counter or camera installations.
- Knowledge of low-voltage cabling, wiring, and network setup.
- Ability to read site plans and follow installation guidelines.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites.
- (Optional) Familiarity with ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) or data collection equipment.
