**BASIC SALARY**: Up to £50,000

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Field Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - Electronic Maintenance, Monitoring, Measurement, Test & Diagnostic Instrumentation

Reporting to the European and International Project Manager you will carry out a number of duties and tasks in relation to our monitoring equipment and systems.

These will include:

- Installations and Commissioning,
- Diagnostics,
- Repair,
- Scheduled maintenance and
- Fault finding.

You will work across a number of industries and sectors including Medical,Healthcare, Research Facilities, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Hospitals, Blood Banks, Laboratories and vaccine manufacturers to name a few.

The majority of the work will involve staying away, often up to 2 weeks at a time depending on project size and location. We have clients across the whole of the UK, and into Europe, Asia and the USA and with the weekends off you will get to see some greatplaces

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Field Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - Electronic Maintenance, Monitoring, Measurement, Test & Diagnostic Instrumentation
- Carry out installations and commissioning of new monitoring equipment and systems.
- Perform fault finding tasks including, diagnostics and reporting.
- Repair, service and maintenance. both planned and reactive.
- Attend break downs to diagnose, rectify and repair.
- Demonstrate how to use equipment to clients and end users.
- Control of parts and spares as required.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Field Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - Electronic Maintenance, Monitoring, Measurement, Test & Diagnostic Instrumentation
- An electrical / electronics background
- Understanding of Electronic systems, wiring and computer networking.
- Fault finding skills including diagnostics and testing.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for hands on installation and repairs.
- Good communication skills at all levels internally and externally with colleagues, clients and end users
