Why you should join usThe Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement (CI) within the ACL sector will lead and implement TE's CI strategy across multiple business units and manufacturing sites. This role drives Lean Transformation and process improvements aligned with TE's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence, capable of guiding cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business improvements.
Job Requirements- Lead CI and Lean Initiatives: Drive TE's Continuous Improvement and Lean programs across the ACL sector, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and operational goals.
- Develop Roadmaps: Establish structured, time-bound plans to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Performance Management: Implement scorecards and accountability metrics to monitor progress and ensure milestone achievement.
- Strategic Alignment: Own TEQ (TE Operating Advantage) goals and ensure they align with business priorities.
- Process Optimization: Identify and prioritize key areas for improvement using data-driven analysis and Lean methodologies.
- Problem-Solving Leadership: Facilitate root cause analysis, waste elimination, and continuous improvement workshops.
- Innovation & Standardization: Deploy best practices and standardized processes across sites to optimize end-to-end operations.
- Capability Building: Mentor and train employees on CI methodologies to strengthen organizational capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with global and regional teams to share best practices and harmonize processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain with a focus on operational excellence.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites or value streams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive complex initiatives in a global environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization with cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of TEOA principles, manufacturing processes, and supply chain optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in Mathematics/Statistics (Six Sigma, Red-X, etc.).
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Must be able to travel globally as business needs dictate.
