Site Manager – Newport (Travelling Role)

This is a travelling role, ideal for someone who enjoys working on different projects and doesn't want to be tied to a single location. You'll play a key part in ensuring schemes are delivered to the highest standard, representing the contractor's values of professionalism, collaboration, and quality craftsmanship.

The role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily site operations, from pre-start through to handover
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour on-site
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation at all times
  • Managing programme, budget, and quality to deliver successful outcomes
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and colleagues
  • Regular travel to different sites, ensuring smooth project delivery

  • A proven track record as a Site Manager within construction (D&B advantageous)
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple teams effectively
  • Knowledge of health & safety procedures and quality standards
  • Flexibility to travel across South Wales and wider regions as required
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
