You'll play a pivotal part in shaping how DAS evolves, ensuring the product continues to deliver real-world, measurable value to our customers.
This role blends deep data science fluency with product ownership - you'll spend most of your time applying data science, analytical and modelling principles to solve real operational challenges, while also driving the product vision and roadmap. The role leans strongly toward data science, with a focus on translating insights into product decisions.
The Role
By joining our team, you'll:
- Act as the technical thought leader for DAS, applying mathematics and optimisation to solve complex operational challenges.
- Design, refine, and document new algorithms that power DAS, ensuring they are scalable, accurate, and commercially valuable.
- Define KPIs and performance measures, building evidence that enhancements deliver measurable results in live environments.
- Translate complex allocation logic into clear product requirements and work packages for the engineering teams.
- Oversee the operationalisation of algorithms - ensuring they are implemented correctly, tested thoroughly, and deployed with confidence.
- Act as DAS's technical ambassador with customers, supporting onboarding, implementation, and showing how DAS can solve their planning and analytical needs.
- Collaborate with the Customer, Software Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure the successful implementation of the product backlog, product roadmap and strategic direction of DAS.
- This role requires a balance of both technical data science and product management, ensuring we deliver our strategic product roadmap for DAS.
