WHAT TO EXPECT:
We're looking for a Creative Lead to shape the creative direction for some of the world's leading mobile apps. Reporting to our Creative Director, you'll guide a talented multidisciplinary team of designers, copywriters, and motion specialists to deliver high-impact, data-informed creative that drives app growth and engagement.
You'll balance hands-on creative work with leadership and strategy, setting the tone for quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. This is a role for someone who thrives on autonomy, can read a room, and knows how to translate business goals into creative impact. You'll be managing a small team from the start, so strong people leadership and mentoring skills are key.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, copywriters, and motion designers, ensuring creative excellence and effective execution across multiple service lines.
- Set the creative vision & strategy for mobile app marketing campaigns, aligning them closely with client goals to drive user acquisition and retention, including:
- App Store Optimisation across the App Store and Play Store
- User Acquisition on various channels including paid social marketing and Google App campaigns
- In-app messages, push notifications, and email campaigns
- Cultural localization of assets
- Presenting approaches to clients of all stakeholder levels, including executive team
- Provide mentorship and guidance to your squad, fostering their growth and development while ensuring they have opportunities to showcase their creativity.
- Drive the adoption of AI workflows in your team, by showing how it can be an important part of a creative's toolbox, rather than a threat
- Cross-functional collaboration with Growth Leads, Account Managers, and other disciplines to ensure the creative team is set up for success on assigned projects and tasks
- Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure that workloads remain balanced and to incorporate innovative and scalable creative processes into your work
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their app's unique value proposition and target audience, and working closely with the client to deliver creative concepts which deliver impact for their business goals.
- Work closely with the Creative Leadership team to shape the overall direction and evolution of Phiture's creative offerings in the mobile app space.
- Oversee the creative development process for your portfolio of clients, balancing hands-on design work with strategic direction and project management.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate innovative ideas and concepts for mobile app marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in mobile app marketing, share insights with the team, and incorporate innovative approaches into client campaigns.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Proven experience in a creative leadership role within a mobile/digital agency or similar environment.
- An ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and client stakeholders with strategically led creative
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of digital marketing campaigns and assets across multiple platforms and channels.
- Proficiency with Figma, including automation and components, and experience with other common Adobe Creative Cloud tools
- First experience with- and a strong interest in - AI tools and how they can bolster creative efforts
- Excellent English and client-facing communication skills, and the ability to sell your ideas both internally and externally
- Ability to work under pressure and among changing deadlines without compromising on the quality of work.
- Familiarity with using data-driven insights to optimize creative strategies and campaign performance.
- Curiosity and passion for innovation, staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in mobile marketing and creative marketing in general.
