Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage appointments, recalls and patient records.
- Handle phone calls and correspondence efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Processing payments and managing the reception area
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous reception or customer facing experience preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Professional telephone manner
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of dental software or appointment systems is a plus, may suit a dental nurse looking to work as receptionist
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-focused attitude.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office suite.
