About You
- You're a time-served engineer with an HND / HNC qualification
- You'll have managed production teams in an engineering/manufacturing environment
- You lead your team from the front, with clarity and integrity focussed on driving and developing the team
- Strong project management skills and experience delivering strategic improvement plans
- Good level of commercial acumen
- NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualification
About the Role
- You'll lead daily production operations across all site departments with a strong focus on delivery, quality, cost and customer requirements
- Champion Lean and CI initiatives to streamline processes and boost performance
- Working closely with production, quality and planning departments to ensure deadlines are met
- Manage site maintenance, services and facilities
- Work closely with other functions to solve problems and keep customers happy
- Ensure compliance with ISO45001 and ISO18001 regulations
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and capital expenditure plans
- Ensure maintenance of machinery
- Maintain and build solid relationships with suppliers, contractors and customers
