Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Admin and Marketing Assistant to join our small team. This dynamic role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities and has a keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office including general office admin tasks and packing parcels to be dispatched while also assisting and leading in the execution of marketing initiatives. From supporting daily office functions to helping coordinate social media content and promotional campaigns, you'll be an integral part of both the admin and marketing functions.
Administrative Duties
- Provide general administrative support in the office including answering phones, managing emails, and dealing with customer queries.
- Managing orders through from the website, Ebay and Amazon and packing parcel accordingly.
- Maintain and organize office files, supplies, and documents.
- Support invoicing, basic bookkeeping, or liaising with external vendors as needed.
Marketing Support Duties
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms
- Help create, organize and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities including email marketing on MailChimp
- Maintain and update the company website and other digital platforms (basic CMS or WordPress experience beneficial)
- Source and liaise with suppliers for marketing materials such as brochures, merchandise, or printing if required
- Assist in creating basic visual content (using Canva or similar tools)
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an administrative or marketing support role (1–3 years preferred).
- Familiarity with Sage is advantageous but not mandatory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Canva, Hootsuite and Wordpress)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working independently
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles is an advantage
- Design or content creation skills (basic Photoshop or Canva)
