is supporting a global consulting firm in sourcing a senior
Director-level DORA Testing SME
to lead a comprehensive DORA testing programme across a major regulatory engagement. The assignment focuses on defining, building, and implementing an end-to-end DORA testing framework, ensuring all business and technology areas achieve compliant regulatory readiness.

Assignment Details

  • Initial Duration:
    6 months
  • Location:
    Hybrid – UK (2–3 days per week on site depending on client location)
  • Day Rate:
    £ per day via PAYE
    plus additional 12.07% holiday pay
    with employer's NI and tax deducted at source, unlike umbrella companies and no umbrella admin fees)
  • Start:
    ASAP

This role requires a deep understanding of DORA's testing expectations, regulatory evidence requirements, and enterprise-wide testing governance. You will define strategy, scope, approach, coverage, scenarios, metrics and outputs for a full DORA-aligned test programme.

Key Skills & Experience

  1. Financial Services/Banking experience is essential
  2. Hands-on experience leading DORA testing readiness at enterprise scale.
  3. Expertise designing
    regulatory test strategies, frameworks, execution plans and evidence models
    .
  4. Strong understanding of DORA controls, ICT risk, operational resilience, and regulatory alignment testing.
  5. Proven ability to work across
    Technology, Risk, Ops, Cyber, and Business functions
    .
  6. Experience advising and challenging
    C-suite level stakeholders
    .
  7. Ability to define test scenarios, traceability, expected outcomes and control evidence packs.
  8. Experience supporting cross-functional teams through remediation and readiness cycles.
  9. Strong documentation capability: test plans, scripts, evidence templates and reporting.
  10. Clear communicator capable of influencing at senior level.
