Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Property Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance, management, and operational needs of the hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and excellent customer service abilities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth functioning and upkeep of hotel while providing exceptional support to team members alike.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver required site-maintenance services under the leadership of more senior colleagues.
- Take action to improve performance and to resolve noncompliance with the organisation's HSE policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions.
- Maintenance and Repair Planning Check and adjust scheduled and allocated resources for specific repair and maintenance jobs. Includes prioritizing for urgency in accordance with defined protocols.
- Provide operational support services and act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Support property management in organising schedules for preventative maintenance programmes
Skills
- Experience in property maintenance or facilities management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to electrical, mechanical, and general property maintenance
This role is ideal for candidates who are organised, proactive, and possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership qualities. The Property Assistant will play a vital part in maintaining high standards across our properties while delivering outstanding service to our hotel guests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour
