Customer Acquisition Manager

Presto Music is a leading online destination for classical and jazz recordings, sheet music, instruments, books and all things musical.

We're hiring a commercially minded marketer to drive new customer acquisition across our website, streaming service, and Leamington Spa store. You'll spot opportunities and maximise reach through a range of channels— social, print, digital advertising, partnerships and more —and by cultivating strong relationships across the industry.

What you'll do:

• Partnerships & co-marketing:
  Secure campaigns with record labels, artists, concert halls, ticketing companies, hi-fi brands and manufacturers, and key industry media . Deliver newsletter swaps, social cross-posts, premieres, and referral code activity that acquires new customers.

• Paid & owned channels:
  Plan and optimise campaigns across social, search/display and print; align with editorial and product teams; maintain a clear, test-and-learn roadmap.

• Social presence:
  Own channel strategy and calendar (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X as applicable). Oversee day-to-day publishing via the Marketing & Events Coordinator and ensure best-practice community management.

• Lifecycle & retention:
  Review existing welcome/onboarding, automations and reactivation programmes on a regular cadence; analyse performance, then re-design, test and iterate to improve conversion and early-life engagement.

• Store marketing:
  Drive "feet through the door" via targeted print, local partnerships, co-marketing, flyers, social, and in-store expert activation.

• Events:
  Assist and deliver album launches, recitals, workshops and other events that generate footfall and first-time purchases. Use team-created assets and unique content to promote widely across store and online, in collaboration with artists/composers and labels.

• Affiliate & referral:
  Build and manage affiliate partners and referral schemes with robust tracking.

• Data, reporting & compliance:
  Track funnel performance (GA4 or equivalent), monitor CAC and conversion rates, and ensure GDPR-compliant practices.

• Team leadership:
  Manage and coach the Marketing & Events Coordinator; set standards, workflows and publishing cadences (including video).

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in multi-channel acquisition marketing with measurable growth results.
• Strength in partnerships/co-marketing and stakeholder management.
• Comfortable with analytics, budgeting to CAC targets, and running experiments.
• Clear, persuasive communicator with excellent planning and attention to detail.
• Experience in the classical music industry or the recorded/live ecosystem essential

How success will be measured:

• Growth in new customers and improvement in CAC vs. target.
• Uplift in conversion rates across key journeys (web and store).
• Uplift across existing lifecycle journeys
  (e.g., welcome → first purchase), experiment velocity and win rate, and measurable improvements from tested iterations.
• Event attendance, store footfall and resulting sales.
• Partner campaign ROI and affiliate/referral contribution.

Ways of working:

Our offices are located in the heart of Leamington Spa. We encourage a hybrid working environment, which includes regular time in the office to foster team collaboration. Please note that occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for specific industry moments or festival events. This work will be cross-functional, requiring collaboration across the Editorial, Buying, E-commerce/Product, and Customer teams.

Salary
: £40,000 - £43,000 Dependent on experience
