Our client, a leading global technology and financial services organisation, is looking to appoint an Interim Legal Counsel to cover a period of maternity leave (7-8months)

This role offers the opportunity to provide legal advice and support across a broad range of commercial matters, with a strong focus on procurement and supplier contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers
  • Supporting governance, compliance, and risk management processes
  • Contributing to legal initiatives, including the use of AI in legal services
  • Working closely with business units and external counsel

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' PQE, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in commercial contracting (ideally in IT/software licensing or outsourcing). Attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to build trusted relationships are essential.
