Job Description:

Dene-Tech Services is a family run survey company with over 30 years' experience in providing underground utility surveying to the water industry. We work on behalf of companies such as Thames Water, Southwest Water, Severn Trent Water – thus giving you the opportunity to travel all over England on a weekly basis.
The role covers a variety of surveys on behalf of the Environment Agency including:
CCTV Investigations
GPS plotting
Manhole Investigations
Combined Sewer Overflow
Flow Monitoring
Impermeable Area Surveys
Jetting and Tankering
Pollution Investigation Surveys
Private Drainage Investigations
Pumping Station and Wastewater Treatment Works
Sewer Tracing
Topographical Investigations
We are looking for an Assistant Surveyor to work a 40-hour week, as part of a two-person crew. Knowledge and experience in the drainage industry would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be offered to the right candidate.
Key features:
· An individual who can work as part of a team, be flexible, reliable and enthusiastic.
· You must hold a full driving license.
· A fit and healthy candidate, as the job can at times be physically demanding, involving heavy lifting and confined space entry. Full training for entering Confined Space and Manual Handling is provided, as well as Street Works and First Aid.
· An applicant who is able to travel throughout the UK on a weekly basis – your working week starts on Monday, and you will return home on Thursday/Friday.
· If you will be staying away from home during the week, you will receive an allowance of £20.00 per day. We will source your accommodation in hotels or in self-catering premises.
· Dene Tech provides full PPE as well as company logo T-shirts, Polo shirts, Fleeces, along with Hi Vis Overalls and Jackets as well as Steel Toe Cap Boots.
· After 3 months you will be enrolled into our NEST pension scheme.
· Job type: Full time and permanent.
