Join a high-growth FMCG scale-up as we enter our next phase of expansion. We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Director to build and lead our finance function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a fast-paced, consumer-driven business and play a pivotal role in scaling operations in the UK and beyond.

The Role

As Finance Director, you will be the strategic backbone of the organisation, partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership team. You'll bring structure, insight and rigour to a scaling business that's ready for its next chapter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing finance function (processes, systems, controls and team).
  • Own all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
  • Provide commercial insight to support decision-making across sales, operations, marketing and supply chain.
  • Implement scalable financial systems and processes to support rapid growth.
  • Lead cashflow management, working capital optimisation and long-term financial planning.
  • Partner with investors and external advisors; manage audit, tax and compliance.
  • Support strategic initiatives including international expansion, new product launches and channel growth.

About You

We're looking for an energetic, hands-on leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.

You will bring:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or another fast-moving product-based business.
  • Proven success in a senior finance role within a scale-up or high-growth environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to challenge and influence.
  • A passion for building teams, improving processes and driving operational excellence.
  • Comfort working at pace, balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
