Finance Director - High-Growth Industrial Scale-Up

We're working with a
high-growth industrial scale-up
in the clean technology space that is pioneering innovative solutions with measurable sustainability impact. The business is looking for a
Finance Director
to lead financial strategy and operations.

The Role:

  • Financial leadership & reporting
    : monthly management accounts, board packs, audits, compliance
  • Cashflow & controls
    : establish strong financial discipline and risk management
  • Forecasting & scenario planning
    : build models to support strategy and growth decisions
  • Fundraising & investment
    : drive Series A fundraising, leverage debt, and asset-backed financing
  • Project commercial oversight
    : manage project-level financials in
    engineering, hardware deployment, and construction-related projects
  • Leadership & team building
    : grow a finance team from scratch, championing transparency and accountability

What We're Looking For:

  • Experienced
    Finance Director, CFO, or senior finance leader
    in a high-growth industrial or engineering business
  • Hands-on with
    project finance experience
    , ideally in the context of
    construction or large-scale industrial site projects
  • Demonstrable experience with
    Series A or growth-stage fundraising
    (equity, debt, asset-backed)
  • Strong
    financial modeling, scenario planning, and commercial acumen
  • Proven ability to
    build and lead a finance team
    , with excellent stakeholder management
