Head of Agentic Commerce (E-Commerce / ACP Practice Lead)

About the role

Agentic Commerce and the Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) are 
very new and moving fast
. No one in the market truly has "10 years of ACP experience" – and we're not looking for that.

We're looking for a 
senior E-commerce leader
 who's excited to 
get ahead of this emerging wave
, shape what "agent-ready commerce" looks like, and build a practice around it. You'll help our clients make their products and journeys ready for AI agents: restructuring product data, designing agent-friendly flows, and building the foundations of an Agentic Commerce / ACP practice that you will 
own, grow, and lead
.

What you'll be doing

Practice build & leadership

• Define and own our 
  Agentic Commerce / ACP strategy
  , knowing the space will evolve quickly.
• Shape our 
  service offering, POV, and playbooks
   as standards and best practices emerge.
• Build and lead a 
  cross-functional team
   (product, engineering, data, delivery) as the practice scales.

Client strategy & delivery

• Work with senior stakeholders to 
  identify where agentic commerce actually makes sense
   for their business.
• Design 
  agent-ready journeys
  : product discovery, stateful sessions, checkout, and fulfilment that agents can interact with reliably.
• Translate emerging ACP concepts into 
  clear roadmaps and technical requirements
   for client teams.
• Oversee delivery to ensure 
  on-time, on-budget, high-quality
   implementations.

Commercial growth & sales

• Act as the 
  face of the practice
   in pitches, webinars, and exec conversations.
• Partner with sales to 
  qualify, scope, and close
   Agentic Commerce projects and pilots.
• Develop 
  pricing models, engagement structures, and GTM campaigns
   for this new offering.
• Build relationships across the 
  agentic ecosystem
   (e.g. OpenAI, Stripe, PSPs, major platforms).

Thought leadership & evangelism

• Turn early client work into 
  repeatable assets, frameworks, and reference architectures
  .
• Represent the company at 
  events and panels
  , explaining what Agentic Commerce / ACP means in practical terms.
• Continuously 
  scan the market for new standards, tools, and patterns
  , and update our approach as the space matures.

What you'll bring

Because Agentic Commerce / ACP is so new, we're 
not
 expecting a decade of direct ACP experience. Instead, you likely have:

• 5–10+ years
   in 
  E-commerce / Digital / Product
   roles (e.g. owning checkout, conversion, payments, marketplaces, or digital journeys).
• Strong experience designing and improving 
  end-to-end online customer journeys
  , including checkout and payments.
• High technical fluency: you're comfortable discussing 
  APIs, webhooks, structured product data, PSPs
   (e.g. Stripe, Adyen, PayPal).
• Curiosity and comfort with 
  AI agents / LLMs / tool-calling
   – enough to work closely with engineers and data teams.
• A track record of 
  owning a product area, P&L, or practice
  , and taking new ideas from concept to revenue.
• Excellent 
  stakeholder and client communication
  , able to explain emerging concepts like Agentic Commerce / ACP to both execs and engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience at a 
  consultancy, systems integrator, or product company
   in E-commerce / AI / digital transformation.
• Prior experience 
  launching a new practice, product, or venture
   within a company.
• Hands-on familiarity with 
  LLM tools or modern E-commerce platforms
   (Shopify, CommerceTools, custom stacks, etc.).
• Any early exposure to 
  Agentic Commerce / ACP, agent-driven checkout, or AI-native commerce experiments
  .
