Our Client, a leading multi-disciplinary engineering services provider specialising in HVAC, critical ventilation, commissioning, water treatment, fire systems, M&E building services, and facility management, is expanding. Through their one-stop approach, they offer competitive pricing and shorter lead times, supporting estates and site managers with streamlined processes.

Their division, focuses on Fire Dampers, Fire Compartmentation, and Fire Doors, delivering nationwide inspection and remedial services. Due to significant growth in their Fire Door division, they are recruiting to expand their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Fire Door Inspections
  • Perform Fire Door Remedial works to FIRAS Standards
  • Execute Fire Door Installations to FIRAS Standards
  • Ensure timely and accurate production of all contract documentation and reports using One Trace Software
  • Manage workload on-site to meet contract deadlines
  • Track contract progress towards completion
  • Communicate effectively with Project Leads

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in joinery
  • Strong knowledge of Fire Doors and FIRAS standards
  • Relevant FIRAS qualifications (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Joinery
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to travel
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to produce plans and coordinate with site personnel
  • Confident IT skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
