Our Team:
Halton's Community Safety & Protection team sits within the Environment and Regeneration Division. The Community Safety and Protection team play a vital role in improving public safety and supporting those experiencing harm. You will work closely with partner agencies to deliver the work programme for the Safer Halton Partnership. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about community safety and translating policy into practice.
Hours: 37 per week

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Community Safety Partnerships Officer, you will have:
- Proven experience in community safety, crime reduction, or public sector partnership work.
- Sound knowledge of crime and disorder legislation and the Community Safety Partnership framework.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a history of building effective partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing, briefings, and presentations.
- Experience supporting or managing strategic boards (e.g. agenda planning, action tracking).
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management ability.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident using data to inform decisions and measure performance.
- Comfortable engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, including elected members.
Additionally, you will have:
- A degree (or equivalent qualification) in criminology, public policy, social sciences, or project management.
- Experience in funding bids and grant management.
- Awareness of current and emerging national community safety priorities
