West Nine Construction is a top-tier contractor specialising in high-end, prime residential projects across Central London. Known for our outstanding quality and craftsmanship, we're on the lookout for a skilled Working Foreman with a solid carpentry background to join our cracking team.

Role Overview

We need an experienced Working Foreman to oversee and get stuck into our prime residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have top-notch carpentry skills, strong leadership, and a proven record of delivering first-class residential projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise on-site construction work, making sure everything sticks to project plans, specs, and deadlines.
  • Roll up your sleeves for hands-on carpentry, including high-end finishing, joinery, and bespoke installations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Keep a sharp eye on health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Ensure top-quality craftsmanship and standards throughout.
  • Report progress and any issues to project managers, keeping all paperwork spot-on.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as a Working Foreman or similar role in prime residential construction.
  • Strong carpentry skills, with expertise in high-end finishes and bespoke joinery.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or equivalent).
  • Ace leadership and communication skills to manage a small team effectively.
  • Proper knowledge of construction processes, materials, and health and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specs.
  • Valid CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS certification
  • Full UK working rights and ability to work in Central London.
