We are seeking a Learning & Participation Manager to join the London Sinfonietta - one of the world's leading contemporary music ensembles. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, ideal for someone with a track record of devising and delivering high quality learning & participation work across a variety of settings within the music sector.

As Learning & Participation Manager you will have huge opportunity to create and shape project work that helps young people, communities and members of the public explore new music in different ways. As part of a small and dedicated team who run the London Sinfonietta, and in partnership with the musicians who perform the music, you will be a champion for music written today and the art of composition, encouraging people to discover and develop their musical creativity for the benefit of their own personal development and to inspire community cohesion. There is plenty of opportunity in the role to learn about marketing, fundraising, production and planning from other departments. Such close hands-on experience of the many sides of the organisation provide invaluable experiences for one's career. As part of the organisation you will be working on projects and performances which are distinctive in the UK cultural scene.

Contract: Full-time

Salary: c £31,000 - £33,000 per annum, according to experience

Start date: To be agreed (Jan/Feb 26)
