GRADUATE SERVICENOW TECHNICAL CONSULTANT 2026

Location: Birmingham, Bristol, London, Manchester, Treforest – Cardiff, Woking

Intake date: April, September 2026

About the job you're considering

From resource planning to closing deals, our worldwide customers rely on us to provide them with the technology that will give their business an extra edge. Immersed in the world of technical project delivery, you will define and develop your consultancy skills to take a variety of well-known private and public sector brands to the next level. We'll expose you to a range of roles from Technical Architect to Database Administrator, so you can decide where your future lies.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

  • Empower Clients with Platform-Based Solutions: Use the ServiceNow platform to deliver cloud-native solutions that enhance customer service operations, streamline case management, and improve engagement across business functions like HR, Finance, and Commercial.

  • Design Tailored Customer Service Experiences: Configure and customize ServiceNow applications to meet unique client needs—automating workflows, integrating with external systems, and building intuitive service portals that elevate customer satisfaction.

  • Grow as a Platform Expert: Continuously expand your knowledge of ServiceNow's Customer Service Management capabilities, develop new features, and stay ahead of emerging platform innovations—becoming a trusted advisor in enterprise service transformation.

You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. We have built a representative and welcoming environment, for everyone.

Graduate Empower Programme

The Empower Programme provides hands-on experience, structured development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. You'll join a supportive, feedback-rich environment where you'll build consulting, technology, industry, and soft skills - whether in business analysis, data, project management, software development, cybersecurity, AI or creative design.

Designed to help you thrive, offering technical and professional development alongside tailored feedback and mentoring. You'll have regular social and networking events to strengthen connections across teams and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.

The Empower Programme equips you to succeed in dynamic roles that integrate both technology and business expertise to deliver value for clients. Built around six essential Power Skills, the programme blends client work, role-specific training, and collaborative projects. You'll join Learning Pods to build cross-functional networks and follow personalised development roadmaps that guide your growth.

Your skills and experience

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a technical discipline.

  • Experience with JavaScript and CSS, with a desire to develop technical skills.

  • Understand and capable of using object-oriented programming (Java, C# etc) and understand the basics of cloud computing.

  • ServiceNow experience (preferable)

  • Plenty of excitement about the power of technology, and the effect it can have on business – along with the capacity to learn more about ServiceNow technologies in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outstanding communication skills – our clients need to feel confident that you understand their requirements and represent the best of Capgemini.

  • The ability to convey complex coding concepts in jargon-free language to a non-technical audience.

  • Becoming a pivotal team member producing high quality ServiceNow solutions.

Your clearance

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your security clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.

There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
