Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Freelance Asbestos Surveyor role located in Basildon. The role involves conducting asbestos surveys for commercial properties, focusing on identifying, testing, and documenting the presence of asbestos. You will be performing both management and refurbishment/demolition surveys as required. Accurate reporting, compliance with safety regulations, and strong client communication are essential parts of the day-to-day responsibilities. The role requires a proactive approach and attention to detail to ensure health and safety practices are adhered to

  • Knowledge of Building Surveying and Surveying techniques applicable to commercial properties
  • A recognized qualification in asbestos surveying, such as P402 or its equivalent
  • Understanding of health and safety practices related to asbestos risk management
  • Ability to work independently in an on-site environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • UK driving license is highly desirable
